 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. After moving to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 to 2016 she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020. She rose to fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she quit after her second year. Then, she earned the GED, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
